Palehose and Twins on track for another 1 game play in

As the sun rises on September first the Minnesota Twins are leading the White Sox by four games.
If the White Sox can go 19-11 in there next 30 and the Twinkies go 15-15 the two teams will find themselves tied for first in the central. Can you say Play In game? Target Field would be the host of this years one game play in game. The Twins would love to get sweet revenge for the White Sox play in win a few years ago at U.S. Cellular Field.
September first also brings in the first at bats for Manny in a White Sox uniform.  Can the locks bring the Sox good luck. They will need it to catch these hot Twins.
What the Twins need more of are some ex-Cubs to help with the choke factor so the Sox can catch them and pass them on there way to the 2010 Playoffs.

White Sox Come Home and Prepare to Take It Hard From the Twins

The White Sox will come home late Monday night or early Tuesday morning with many regrets from a bad 4 days in Balitmore. Buck Showalter the new O's manager has turned the last place O's into one of the hottest teams in baseball. Andy McPhail the GM for Balitmore made a manager's change last week and the team has responded. The players are playing for next year and they are out to impress Showalter for 2011.
Meanwhile the White Sox are playing for 2010 and are not impressing anyone after a miserable week on the road. Now with a huge 6 game homestand starting Tuesday night with the Twins the Palehose need to forgot how poorly they have played and try to at least take 2 of 3 from the Twins.  But as most White Sox fans know the Twins own the White Sox.  Year in and year out, no matter how much more talent the Sox have the Twins just beat them inning after inning. I don't see anything different this week at U.S. Cellular.

The Sox hitting has struggled.  GM Kenny Williams did his best to get Lance Berkman from  Houston but Berkman wanted to be on the same team as his good friend Andy Petitte.  The Sox could use Berkman's power right about now.  With Carlos Quentin playing thru pain and always trying to hit the home run his .234 average is killing the middle of the White Sox lineup.  That and a lack of  a DH that can hit makes the next 49 games the Sox have left to be awful frustrating to watch. The Sox pitching has been great since June 9 but now that the hitting is going south the Sox maybe headed South in the standings.
